This is a story about a little kitten who has not got

a home, and is cold, wet and hungry at the harbour.

It’s about how the kitten tries to find a home on

different types of boats.

I thought The Ship’s Kitten was a very good story.

Some bits were sad and some bits were happy, but

I think it was a mainly happy story. I also liked this

book because I could read it on my own easily.

My favourite character was the kitten because

it didn’t give up and it was cute. I liked the pictures

too, because they were well drawn.

I liked it because it was nice and had a happy

ending. Out of ten, I would give it ten.
